The Water Cycle

The water cycle is the movement and transformation of water on Earth.

Mikhail Smilovic, a scientist at the International Institute for Applied System Analysis (IIASA), gave an overview on the water cycle and his research. Mikhail works on building a model of the water cycle to investigate how changes in management and climate affect future water availability, for use and all of nature. Together we discussed how to creatively represent the water cycle to improve communication and learn about our influence from within.
